Let It Flow: An Alcohol Ink Class for Adults

For the first time in studio history, I am hosting a co-ed adult night out in the studio—registration is open for both men and women! Alcohol inks fast became my favorite products of 2018 and I love using them on a variety of substrates. They are easy to work with, lots of fun, and the creative possibilities are infinite. I will be leading participants in an exploration of dynamic color play, rich, vibrant layers, and the rewards of shape-seeking. I will teach you all of the tips, tricks, and techniques for creating gorgeous pieces of art using this medium. In this series, you will learn a minimum of 3 different techniques for creating these gorgeous abstract masterpieces. Each piece of art will be as unique as the men and women making them.

This would be a perfect way to unwind after a long week, have a really meaningful and fun date night, or get away from it all for a couple hours with a group of friends. Valentine’s Day gifts, anyone?

**Each participant will be working with their very own product kit containing 3 colors of ink and a full pad of Yupo paper. Everyone will have plenty of alcohol inks and Yupo paper to take home with them after class. This is a Bring Your Own Beverage class for ages 21+.

FINE PRINT:

• This class will run on Saturday, February 2, from 6-8 p.m.
• Class takes place at the Self Esteem Through Art studio. 358 Woodland St, Holliston, MA.
• You may Bring Your Own Beverage to this class. If you do, you must be 21+ and be prepared to show I.D.
• Class open to both men and women.
• A complete art kit is included in the pricing.
• Alcohol inks stain and I have not found an effective way to get them out of clothing. Please wear something you don’t mind getting dirty. I do have some aprons in the studio, but they won’t protect your sleeves.
• *This class will run as long as there is a minimum of 8 attendees. No exceptions.
